An year ago I was looking for a new decent web hosting service that I can relay on, so I searched in Google the following term: “top web hosting services”. The results where not really what I hoped for.

Some of the first top 10 hosting websites that where displayed on Google’s first page where probably payed by the hosting companies. Why would I state that? It’s very simple, the differences on how companies rank in those websites tops is very big. There are companies that rank 1′st in one website’s top and 10′th in others tops or even missing from it. In some of these websites prices and features are not updated by several months, even if the “last updated in …” message is set on the current day.

All this low quality “top hosting” websites appearing on the 1′st page of Google gave me the idea to make this quality blog about top hosting services / companies. I will never accept to mislead my readers for one company or another. So you can be sure that this top is the real thing.
